Job Description

Senior Product Manager Locations: San Mateo, San Diego, or Los Angeles (hybrid) Role Overview As a Senior Product Manager you will work within the Commerce Platform area of the PlayStation business, leading initiatives that drive monetization growth for PlayStation’s subscription offerings, with a primary focus on PlayStation Plus and partner subscriptions & integrations. You will expand upon our core subscription platform capabilities and build player-facing experiences that shape how players discover, understand, adopt, and continue to engage with subscription value over time. Your work will support evolving subscription strategies, strengthen the value of existing offerings, and enable new growth opportunities across PlayStation’s first‑party and partner ecosystem. This role requires strong product leadership, a data‑informed mindset, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver impactful experiences at global scale. Responsibilities Develop product vision and strategy for platform experiences & capabilities you lead, with a focus on seamless experiences from acquisition to ongoing member engagement that serve new & diverse audiences and drive monetization growth. Lead the conceptualization, experimentation, development, and delivery of innovative new features working in collaboration with third party partners/integrators and key stakeholders across the business. Drive analysis to drive decision making partnering with data and analytics team members. Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial partners to align on outcomes, target metrics, and key use cases. Translate business needs into actionable requirements, experimentation plans, and product briefs. Lead cross‑functional planning cycles and contribute to broader personalization and lifecycle strategy. Champion a test‑and‑learn approach — drive rapid experimentation, measure outcomes, and continuously refine. Maintain a solid understanding of market trends in gaming, monetization, personalization, and customer lifecycle management. What We’re Looking For 6+ years of product management experience, ideally in a consumer‑facing digital environment. Experience leading cross functional, multi‑faceted implementations with third party partners. Experience with subscription or membership platforms preferred (gaming, media, entertainment, or consumer apps). Consistent track record driving conversion funnels, retention strategies, and monetization opportunities. Experience partnering with Data and Engineering teams to deliver reusable capabilities at scale. Excellent communication skills — you can synthesize context, present trade‑offs, and drive decisions across diverse stakeholder groups. Strong product intuition paired with a comfort navigating technical discussions and experimentation methodologies. Prior experience in gaming, streaming, e‑commerce, or similar high‑scale B2C platforms is a plus. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Benefits & Compensation Eligible for SIE’s top‑tier benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k), paid time off, wellness program, and employee discounts for Sony products. This role may also be eligible for a bonus package. Estimated base pay range: $154,800 — $232,200 USD. Equal Opportunity Statement: Sony is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All persons will receive consideration for employment without regard to gender (including gender identity, gender expression and gender reassignment), race (including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin), religion or belief, marital or civil partnership status, disability, age, sexual orientation, pregnancy, maternity or parental status, trade union membership or membership in any other legally protected category.
