What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or other security-related concerns in accordance with post orders.
• Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas by maintaining a visible presence, observing for irregular activity, and following established response procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• MUST BE retired Law Enforcement with RPO.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
