Essentia Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to serve in our family practice at our Staples Clinic & Pharmacy in Staples, Minnesota. This LPN or CMA works 8:00 am to 4:300 pm, usually two or three days a week. However, this is a flex position, and schedule can be increased or decreased without notice based on needs of the facility. As a flex employee, you will qualify for full time benefits. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. A $2500 sign-on incentive is available.

What You'll Do:

Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• ​LPN: Current LPN licensure in the state of Minnesota upon hire.
• CMA: Certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts.
• BOTH: AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

Shift Start/End: 8:00 am /4:30 pm

Hours Per Pay Period: 48 Flex

Compensation Range: $21.72 - $32.58 / hour

FTE: 0.6

Weekends: No

Sign On Bonus: $2500 Sig-on Incentive
