Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Help Desk Support for our client. This position is responsible for providing first-level and second-level technical support to end users in a manufacturing and office environment. This role serves as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting hardware, software, and system issues while supporting daily IT operations and infrastructure.

What’s a Typical Day Like?

• Receive, prioritize, and resolve IT support tickets for end users.
• Provide troubleshooting support for hardware and software issues including PCs, printers, scanners, and Microsoft applications.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff as needed.
• Support user account management including password resets and access permissions.
• Assist with monitoring and maintaining IT systems, networks, and servers.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Provide onsite support to manufacturing floor and office staff.
• Support warehouse and production devices such as handheld scanners, label printers, and thin clients.
• Follow all safety protocols when working in production environments.
• Communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
• Assist with IT-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide remote or occasional travel support to other locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are the Requirements of the Job?

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with or ability to learn ticketing systems
• Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday with occasional overtime
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Entry-level IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, etc.)
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, or basic networking
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Bilingual skills are a plus
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
