About this position Job Id: CLI-45513-7 Job Type: Direct hire Summary: We are currently seeking qualified individuals to fill the role of HDE Diesel Mechanic at its specialized zinc and graphite mines. Located within a 2-hour drive of The Thousand Islands, Lake Ontario shoreline, the Adirondack Mountains and world class skiing at Lake Placid. Explore Canada with Montreal and Ottawa only 2-3 hours away. Responsibilities Work with all crews sitewide to support continued production. Maintain, diagnose and repair a variety of mobile underground equipment including diesel engines, transmissions, drive train components, high pressure pumps, centrifugal pumps, air compressors, microprocessor controls, electro-mechanical equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, 12/24v electrical systems, equipment cabs and controls, chassis and suspension, rims, tires and wheels. Perform PMs including scheduled hour services, changing fluids, filters, inspections, and other component checks. Perform welding and fabrication duties (frame repairs, brackets, body work, etc.). Complete required maintenance reports and logs. Qualifications Minimum 3 years heavy duty diesel earth moving equipment maintenance. Authorized to work in the US. Able to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions as required to perform his/her duties in a safe and efficient manner. Must be able to perform the work without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others due to the safety sensitivity of tasks. #J-18808-Ljbffr
