Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour


We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and restoration, with expertise in drywall hanging finishing techniques. This role involves preparing and finishing drywall surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship that meets industry standards. The Drywall Finisher will work closely with other construction professionals to deliver exceptional results on various projects.


Responsibilities

• Measure and cut drywall panels to fit specific areas as per project requirements.
• Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings using appropriate fastening techniques.
• Tape, mud, and sand joints to create a smooth surface ready for painting or finishing.
• Apply texture finishes as needed, ensuring consistency across all surfaces.
• Repair damaged drywall and perform water damage restoration as required.
• Collaborate with team members to read blueprints and schematics accurately for project execution.
• Assist in fixture installation, trim carpentry, door hanging, and other related tasks as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on the construction site.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience in drywall finishing within the construction or restoration industry.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics.
• Familiarity with plastering, caulking, stucco application, and metal stud framing.
• Experience in carpentry, including frame carpentry and trim carpentry techniques.
• Knowledge of plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry, and airless paint spraying is a plus.
• Previous maintenance person experience is beneficial for performing diverse tasks on-site.

Schedule/Pay:

• Full-time with day shift hours
• Pay up to $28/hr
• Employees paid weekly!
